Fortunately we still have a constitution. We have a legislature that needs to make it a priority. Spread the message and the work around.

Healthcare was not a high-priority campaign issue for either candidate in 2024. But Donald Trump’s nomination of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, to head the Department of Health & Human Services, and Mehmet Oz, MD, to run the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid could indicate a major shake-up under Trump 2.0. Read more.

Yeah, suspending all NIH research is going to work out just fine. The VA hiring freeze that is affecting dozens if not 100s of people who were in the process of moving, selling/buying homes, letting go of old jobs. No issues there. Both sides, right? Even if confirmation is timely, there is no way any of this is coming back in any reasonably executed manner. They have no experience in this when it was running and even if they do step up, they will be torpedoed by the rest of the admin.
