Terri Roberts is the Executive Director of the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) the definitive voice for holistic nursing supporting the concepts of holism, a state of harmony among body, mind, emotions and spirit. AHNA has 160 Chapters in the United States, publishes a bimonthly electronic newsletter, the AHNA E-News and a magazine entitled Beginnings, that profiles holistic nurses activities in promoting holistic nursing that is published 6 times per year. Previously, for 23 years Terri served as the Executive Director of the Kansas State Nurses Association (KSNA), the professional organization for registered nurses in Kansas. She represented KSNA and professional nurses before the Kansas Legislature, state agencies and in interactions with other healthcare organizations and at national professional nursing meetings. Terri is a 1978 graduate of Washburn University School of Nursing and a 1982 graduate of Washburn University School of Law. She was recognized in 1991 by Washburn University as an Outstanding Alumni representing the School of Nursing.. She is currently serving on the Health Nurse Healthy Nation Advisory Committee to facilitate and support this Grand Challenge within the nursing profession.
